Wells NERR LiFE is here to inform, interpret, and inspire people to know the animals, plants, and other life forms drawing the attention of scientists, naturalists, and students at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve.

While the web has numerous resources for learning about life, the Wells NERR LiFE niche is local, with our primary geographic interest being within the bounds of the Wells NERR, a 1600-acre site in Wells, Maine. Beyond this, we explore south coastal Maine and the entire Gulf of Maine.
